China Glaze Electric Pineapple
Here's a new shade from the China Glaze Island Escape collection. Since Electric Pineapple is the polish I was most excited about, of course it was the first I swatched!
3 coats
Electric Pineapple is a chartreuse-ish creme. I really like it! It's bright without being garish and doesn't make my hands look like trees, which is always a nice bonus. The formula was on the thin side, but it applied nicely and was opaque in three coats.
T-B: Electric Pineapple, OPI Fiercely Fiona, Electric Pineapple
I thought they may be dupes, but Electric Pineapple has much more green in than Fiercely Fiona. They're different enough to own both, especially if you like weird, yellow-green shades.

electric pineapple remind me more of a key lime than a pineapple.
ReplyDeleteThe color is nice, what do you use to make your nails grow?
ReplyDeleteI agree! Inaccurately named, but still really pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteI use Barielle Growth Activator. It works really well!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! This is a great shade of yellow, without it being super in your face.
ReplyDeleteWow, that has just the right amount of green in it... lovely!
ReplyDeleteThis is the one from that collection that I'm most looking forward to. It looks great on you! Thanks for the comparison, too--I only got a mini of FF because I was afraid it would be too yellow to flatter me, so EP might be just the thing.
