Deborah Lippmann Rock This Town Trio Holiday 2012 Swatches & Review

I love holiday collections because it usually means lots of sparkly polishes. Deborah Lippmann's Rock This Town trio is no exception. These complex flecked shimmers are perfect for the upcoming holiday season.

Deborah Lippmann Moon Dance has an overall greyish purple tone. I love the finish, and this one is easily my favorite of the bunch.

Deborah Lippmann Phoenix Rising is a golden copper shimmer. Very autumnal.

Deborah Lippmann Chain Reaction is a golden olive shimmer. So full of awesome.



The formula on these is great. They have a nice consistency and offer a great deal of control. I also like that they're sheer but buildable to full opacity. I see some layering combinations in my future.



I love this set, and it's way more interesting than her fall offerings. I'm happy that Deb has taken a step back from Happy Birthday glitter to create something truly beautiful.

    These are so gorgeous! I want this set, but mainly for Chain Reaction and Moon Dance. Not a huge fan of the orange.

    great swatches as always! i picked this set up last weekend.. love it, only tried moon dance and was pretty bummed it took me 4 coats, def going to try layering that one next time to save up the pretty!

    DAMN. I just ordered a Lippmann polish two days ago, and I was trying to find a few other polishes to get but came up short (I'm kind of underwhelmed by all the holiday collections, sadly!). I did NOT see swatches of Phoenix Rising, which I LOVE. I'm always on a hunt for a goldenish shade that will work with my skintone. This looks fab, Lola! Not to mention the other shades :)
