Givenchy Grenat Initie is an orange red creme. I want to call it burnt orange, but there's just a little too much red for it to qualify, in my opinion. This is a perfect fall color, but I'm not even sure if it's season appropriate anymore, since we just got our first snowfall yesterday. :( Anyway, it's a gorgeous color and an unexpected love for me.



The formula is absolutely perfect. I was swatching a bunch of other polishes prior to putting this one on, and it just made me appreciate the formula that much more.

    Mmmm that is one beautiful red! I didn't realize it had an orange lean or I'd have been tempted to order it during the VIB sale - I don't even wear red polishes much but I always want to buy them nonetheless LOL. I was nervous it was too close to the couple reds I DO have, but I see it's not. Lovely!
