Smokin' Hot is perfection in a bottle. It's a dusty, greyed purple that is subtly dramatic, if you catch my drift. I'm totally diggin' dusty shades right now; they're perfect for winter! I can't really tell you about the application because everything that could possibly go wrong while I was polishing definitely did. The dry time a bit slow, but again, that may have been because of my mani ineptitude today. It doesn't matter, though. I'm pretty sure you need Smokin Hot in your life.
I'm not a huge fan of reds, but Jungle Red definitely deserves some love. This beauty is a bright, neutral red in direct light, but is actually quite deep in the shade. I could still see VNL at 3 coats, but that didn't bother me. A fourth coat is a definite must for full opacity...or thicker coats maybe? The application was smooth and easy. Dry time was decent and its finish is like vinyl. Beautiful!

Drugstore editon! Last week, I hit up some drugstores I've been neglecting and picked up some things. I also received my Sally's order and picked up some WnW holiday polishes this week.
I think those Studio M's were from the Fall collection. The mood polishes don't have names, but I'm looking forward to trying them when my nails are a bit longer.
Pearl Harbor is amazing over black. I need to post pics of that asap!
Here's a mani I did with Prancer.

Don't be fooled by the blue tint of Today Was A Fairytale. That's just the base color. The actual glitter is identical to the glitter in Flurry Up. Unless you're planning on wearing them alone or layered over a very light color, there's not point of owning both in my opinion.
The application of both was typical for a chunky glitter. A bit of time is needed between coats. I do appreciate having both because Today Was A Fairytale is more dense and will only need one coat while Flurry Up will need two when it comes to layering. I'll post some pictures of these layered over black and white later, but the difference is subtle.
T-B: DL TWAF, SOPI FU, DL TWAF, SOPI FU
3 coats of each.
Once again, unless you plan on wearing these alone, there's no significant need to own both. Especially since the DL is $20 and the SOPI is $9.
